I have been thinking about the whole ex-"thing" Ex-boyfriend/girlfriend, ex-friend, ex-co worker, ex...well what ever there is.
Think about the first time you meet some of the on the street, see them across the room at a party or even in the store.
The awkward moment, the first things to say. What are you even supposed to say to the person who you (for example) kissed?
Let's take an ex-boyfriend/girlfriend to start with.
You had a great relationship (apart from the arguments and all the bad things) you were still somehow good friends at the end of the breakup.
Are we supposed to walk up to them or should they come to us?
Then there are the feelings that come up to the surface.
Are we supposed to set all the feelings aside just because they are no longer our boy/girlfriend or because they are dating someone else?
It's just so exhausting, annoying, time-taking and it just makes us even worse at the end of it all.
The whole thing about meeting the ex is something that NO MAN OR WOMAN can ever prepare for. No matter how long or hard you thing about it it's not ending up like you thought.
One thing that always goes through my mind is if the ex-boy/girlfriend have feelings for me or if they even want to get back together, if something is going to happen during the night or when ever you meet....... but that's a thing I never find out because I can never ask them, which I never even would, I don't wanna make a fool of my self if they don't but on the other hand what if they are thinking about the same thing?
The conclusion is that no matter what happens there are millions of other guys/girls out there and you can always go get your heart broken or break another ones heart while you are still alive.
