Valentines Day For Single People.

For some Valentines day is already "up and running" but for me it's still Thursday night and V-Day is not that far away.
I was thinking about what I'm gonna do tomorrow. And I figured out that I am gonna spend my day like every other day. No presents for anyone, nothing special for me. Maybe a cake with some strawberries but other than that I am gonna spend my day like it's nothing special. I heard a while ago that the people in love have their special day and that is February 14=Valentines Day, but the once who are not in love they have every other day, when it's not some holiday. I was wondering why we who are not in love in THE SPECIAL ONE on Valentines Day, why don't we get presents every day if those days are our "holidays"? Why don't we get some discount on the stuff that we "like"? I don't got anything against people who are in love and want to celebrate it whit their loved once, it's just the opposite actually, I am glad that people have someone who can bring them flowers, chocolate and some other present just to say they love them. And speaking of giving presents to the one you love, why don't they give "us" presents on another day when it's not V-Day? If they do love us why can't they bring us a simple flower they took from the neighbors garden or a piece of chocolate they kept to them selves? Sure it's nice to hear from someone I LOVE YOU every now and then but when it's not a holiday it just feels like you are not that important to them. Well I guess I won't be getting any REAL answers to those questions so I better go and figure it out on my own. To all of you who are in love I wish you the best Valentines Day can bring. And to all of you who are spending V-Day alone (like me) well... I hope you make the best of it and don't think about how other couples out there are having a good dinner, watching a movie or what ever people do on February 14. You can make it your own special day, go out with your friends, make a dinner just for your self, get in to your pajamas and just do what ever you want to do. Have your own fun on Valentines Day and don't think about the people who have to dress up, put on makeup, be all sweet to each other even though they been dating for well let's say 5 years. Forget about all of that and have fun on your own. Something that makes me feel better is to buy a bouquet of flowers and just enjoy that I can pick out any flower I want and not think about that it's from someone else who might break up with me after a week. Being single is awesome, well at least for me it is and on a day like V-Day you can make it your own way for it to be the best day. :)
